DXL Error - Attribute Name includes a number

I am experiencing an error with my dxl script. One of the attibutes in the DOORS module is called "New or Modified for -9". When I try to output a file with the attribute, I receive an error "unknown Object attribute."

Is there a way to create a surrogate attribute to prevent this error?

Thank you.

"unknown Object attribute" is when the attribute doesn't exist in the object's module, or it does exist but it's not defined for objects.

string NameAttr = "New or Modified for -9"
AttrDef ad = find(current Module, NameAttr)
if (null ad)then{print NameAttr "\tdoesn't exit\n"; halt}
if (!ad.object) then{print NameAttr "\tnot for objects\n"; halt}
print NameAttr "\tOK\n"
